We want to help take interpretive messages online to an expanding audience. While it is relatively simple to post an informational site (it's called brochureware), the real challenge is to reach people with same effectiveness as any other traditional media. We believe it can be done and done well if a site is started on the firm foundation of planning, well defined goals, teamwork and creativity.

ParkSites is a new venture for it's principles and our network of freelance resources. And it's built on experience in interpretation, communications, multimedia and the World Wide Web.

We are:

Joseph Matthews: A degree in interpretation, 6 years as a NPS interpreter and AV specialist, more than 12 years as a professional photographer and 10 years in communications management & strategy with the last five of those years involved in web project management and production. Currently involved in photo and video production.

And a small circle of experienced freelance writers, editors, illustrators and programmers that can be trusted to get it right and do it on-time. These are people we trust to deliver.
